This is a delightful continuation of Fractions Years 1 and 2. Fractions Year 3 builds on the foundational understanding of counting, sequencing, and sorting to give number sense with fractions in previous years. In Fractions Year 3 we build on that foundation by mastering equivalent fractions, exploring reciprocals,  and discovering the algorithms for multiplying and dividing with fractions.  It is full with the same fun and engaging activities including movement, art, and exploration. You’ll make ‘music,’  make rainbow tea, and bake more cookies. As always there are games and art. This year we are adding in play with attribute and Truchet tiles. There are 98 pages including an introduction section that goes over tips for teaching math, different mindsets that are useful, math manipulatives, games, and the reasoning and relationships.
