The Multiplication and Division Curriculum is a 3 to 4 year vibrant and colorful curriculum moving through the concepts of multiplication and division. It is a whole child curriculum incorporating lots movement and art. Several math manipulative are used including a number line, Cuisenaire rods, and the counting wheel. It can be purchased as all three years with over 100 pages of ideas, concepts, and activities, or as individual years.

Year one begins with a light and fun introduction to multiplication and a hint of division through finding patterns of the 100 chart, jumping on a physical number line, counting wheel, watercoloring, or coloring a multiplication tables.

Year 2 moves into more in depth understanding of the concepts. Facts are memorized using rhythmic movement, counting wheels, and games. Multiplication towers, the 12-point circle medallions, and more extensive use of the Cuisenaire rods are used.

Year 3 and 4 progresses into teaching the multiplication and division algorithm. This goes step-by-step alongside the methods used in years 1 and 2 to slide into a understanding of how the algorithms work. Triangular and Square numbers are introduced, and the beautiful multiplications circles are made.
