Hi. I’m Della. I am a scientist turned homeschooling mother of two, ages 11 and 17, and an advocate for play in childhood. I was very fortunate to work in a preschool during college that was way before their time in academics.  Their philosophy was a play-based one.  I worked with some wonderful people and gained deep insights. It has shaped my foundation of education and my homeschooling journey with my children. I’m hoping to inspire others and to encourage more play in learning and in childhood. Enjoy your visit.
